American Gun Safety Association (AGSA), a new membership association working to pass state laws for licensing, registration and insurance of firearms and their owners (like we have for motor vehicles), will launch on March 24 at the March for Our Lives event organized by the #NeverAgain student-led movement that mobilized in response to the mass shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida last month.Read more
AGSA is organizing as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, which allows us to do lobbying and political activity. We can accept donations, but these will not be deductible for your income taxes.
AGSA also plans to form a related 501(c)(3) nonprofit education fund, which will be able to accept tax-deductible donations.
